 I don't know where to begin. I feel like the past month was a bit of a blur - so much happened, and so much has changed for us. We are still south of the 49th parallel (we're at the 45th to be concise) but we are in Canada. We moved nearly 2 weeks ago and we are relieved that it's over and thankful that the move went so well. We are all still in that transition phase; the kids roam around the house, not sure what to play with, and Patrick is still scratching his head looking for the cutlery in the kitchen. But we had a meaningful farewell in DC and are happy to be in Ottawa.

 SMALL-0048.jpg "Image") So here's a little glimpe of our new place. I didn't get every angle or even every room, for that matter. I just snapped a few pics while the kids were napping. We sure are loving all the space and the great neighborhood.

Ok, it's been a month but I'm at it again. I'm realizing that I really do like this website business. I'm not ready to let months pass by without a little update. And really, my journal is blank. I don't take the time to sit and reflect anymore, besides this little website. So bear with me...
